I wanted to share a fun update from earlier this year when Jay Jansen from Cincinnati Experience came to visit our group at the AGM. We had a great conversation about what it’s really like to be a foreign national living in Cincinnati, and our input helped shape a brand-new guide for expats now live on their site!
If you haven’t seen it yet, Cincinnati Experience is a fantastic resource for getting to know the city beyond the basics. It’s invaluable if you’re still settling in, are exploring with your family, or want to show guests what makes Cincinnati so special!
Here are a few things you’ll find on the site:
The new Expat Guide – full of tips on neighborhoods, cultural events, and ways to connect with the local community
Food & Drink Guides – from Cincinnati chili to global cuisine, they cover what (and where) to eat
Arts, Music & Events – see what’s happening around the city and where to find live shows, museums, and festivals
Tours & Things to Do – Whether you love art, outdoors, music, or history, there are curated pieces for every interest.
Rivers, Parks & Trails – Great for those who love green spaces, waterfront views, or outdoor activities.
Career & Business Info – insights into Cincinnati’s economy, job market, and support for newcomers.
Check it all out at https://www.pgiti.com/ under Resources.
It’s really cool to see our voices included in something that will help other internationals feel more at home here. Feel free to share the guide with any friends or colleagues who are new to town and remember to invite all the new P&G expats and returning employees to join us here at PGITI!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Thornton
